This privacy policy explains how Sea Front S.A. (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit sea-front.gr, contact us through the website, or chat with us. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek law 4624/2019.

2. What data we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, yacht name or type, the service you are interested in and your message. We also record that you gave your consent and when.
- Live chat: the messages you send, plus your name and email address if you choose to give them. Our live chat is provided by tawk.to, which also collects technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit during the chat.
- Email and phone: the information you share with us when you contact us directly.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and time of visit) to keep the website secure and working.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive data such as health information.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes: based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To provide our services if you become a customer: to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)) and to meet our legal obligations, for example under Greek tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the website secure: based on our legitimate interest in protecting our website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.
4. Who we share your data with
We only share your data with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, and only as far as necessary:
- our website hosting provider, which stores the website and its data;
- our email provider, which delivers form messages to our inbox;
- tawk.to (tawk.to inc.), which provides our live chat. Tawk.to may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this happens, it relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may also share data where the law requires it, for example with tax authorities.
5. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries and chats that do not lead to work: up to 2 years after our last contact, then deleted.
- Customer records: for as long as Greek tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider for security purposes.
6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work. Our live chat (tawk.to) uses its own cookies to keep your chat session open while you browse. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
